Designing with PowerPoint [Update]

Hey-yo!

I’ve recently just updated the ‘TUTORIAL’ page on my website. The page consist of this programme that I generated years ago and have recently remade from scratch. I’ve created video tutorials for all, and I’ve also managed to generate a PDF version for those who of course…much prefer an unanimated version, as the video format is a bit of a stretch on duration. (Slow and steady wins the race, apparently… so you know – do as you feel fit)

UNIVERSE 7 (to edit)

This project will be hosted here

https://iagyemandesigns.wordpress.com/customize/

As you may have noticed I’m currently working on a project of my own; something small to keep the engine running and the creative mind thinking. The Project is called 「UNIVERSE 7」– U7 will contain a set of 7 images, but as of now I will upload 3 images out of the 7. The remaining 4 images are currently under design process. However, as there will be 7 in total, there will be a duplication of each source. 7 will be watermarked, and the other set of 7 will be untouched; this decision may change. That being said, this is for those who much prefer to obtain an image without any visual interferences – in addition to that, the watermarks alone are an indication of the project and it’s maker (origin), but I do understand watermarks can be a bit of a drag; I’m quite picky myself, actually.

Not an overkill, nothing too fancy; something subtle and sophisticated. As I produce work of my own, I often contemplate on the idea of being a perfectionist, and how that alone can stagger my ability. So, I’ve set a side my pride of a perfectionist and I’ll accept what I’ve placed in front of me, knowing in the future to come I’ll progress even further.

So, these are 4 of the 7 sources I’m willing to share to you today.

Future Project [DEMO]

EXPERIMENTAL WALLPAPER (Created by Isaac Agyeman)

This is/was primarily a test wallpaper that I had created a while back; made a few experimentation exports to see how wallpapers of a specific design would look on a specific dimension (it was for an Exhibition of which I also had my work presented in) – I really did like the idea and concept of what I was creating, so I saved this experimental test piece for the future (so I could advance with my idea).

I have now decided to use and merge my experimental piece with these mock-ups as a tests of what’s to come in the near future.

(I did in fact create the wallpaper)

Update 2

tutorial-icon

Yo – second update for today. In my previous posts, I mentioned that I’m currently working on a project that I had thought of many years ago and now I’m of course bringing it to light. I’m glad to say that the project that I was referring to is somewhat ‘live’ and will be held on this website in this link here; titled ‘TUTORIALS’ > https://iagyemandesigns.wordpress.com/tutorials/ < my next update related post maybe my last post for the page; unless if I begin to apply more sources. So go ahead and check it out. I’ve created a schemata that is friendly to all types of people, there will be downloadable content for others to use as they see fit.

Update.

In my previous post, I mentioned that I’ve been planning as well as thinking about a project that I’ve generated for a couple of years. I mentioned that I have/I will be producing something which is geared towards everyone, not just creatives. So I’m happy to say that I can provide a preview of some sort, but the project alone is not live. Not just yet.

A preview of what’s to come.

This so called ‘Project’ will be based here -> https://iagyemandesigns.wordpress.com/coolstuff/ <  -a page here on my site named “COOL STUFF” (To be honest, I’m not even sure if that’s going to be the official name of the page; but it will most definitely contain different theme in comparison to the rest (or at least majority) of my site.

This page will contain elements of which you as well as passers-by will be able to download and use for your (their) benefit as well as decoration, so look out for my posts.

Capcom vs. SNK 2 OST The Lord God (Theme of God Rugal) Extended

Coming soon.

In the midst of creating something for creators.

I’ve been planning; working as well as thinking about a specific project for a couple of years, now. I’m not going to spoil too much, but it’s something geared towards everyone. I do hope that this will benefit anyone and/or everyone who actually applies themselves to what I’ll be exposing soon. This is just a mere preview. Photoshop brushes.

(P.S: I listen to Video Game Soundtracks whilst I work, so I will actually provide links to what I’ve been listening to at the time of me producing work)

Last Year of University

https://iagyemandesigns.wordpress.com/third/

I’ll provide a routine post to inform you readers about work that I have produced that are attached to specific pages. I had recently graduated (well, it’s been a while, actually) – and since then, I’ve been at home resting and planning my future. For those who are interested in viewing my work that I have recently produced, click the link. (Recently meaning: work that I have produced in my last year of University, but do make sure to browse other pages too, as they will contain work that I produced at University.)

Art Academy Sketchpad

Art Academy Sketchpad is a Nintendo Wii U application which allows you to freely draw. It’s very much like a digital art room which provides you with a sum of artistic equipment for you to work with. Your base is a canvas and you get to work from pencils, to colouring Pencils, and from colouring pencils to something which is a little more permanent. It’s a great app. For myself, it’s quite hard to be consistent, it was just recently where I thought that I should give it a shot. When I first downloaded it, it seemed quite addictive.

Art Academy™: SketchPad puts advanced drawing tools at your fingertips with the Wii U™ GamePad controller. You can sketch with realistic graphite and colored pencils, and draw designs with pastels. Create your own masterpieces and share them with others on Miiverse™. (http://artacademy.nintendo.com/sketchpad/)

I’ve seen so many great talent on the Miiverse. I’ve always thought about using the Wii U gamepad to draw something for others to see, but with my large hands and uncomfortably small stylus pen and screen to draw on, it makes it almost impossible for one to draw in the accuracy they’d prefer. To be honest, I’m quite shocked others are able to pull of what they’ve pulled off with such a small screen and stylus to work with. It’s been a while since I’ve actually used my Wacom Bamboo fun Tablet, too. It’s constantly laggy and very inaccurate. I must purchase myself a new one at some point. I’ve decided to share this piece as I don’t have any plans for making this look much more refined in the future; just the minor edits, and I’ll be keeping to my base instruments – which are 2H and HB, (might have been 2B, can’t quite remember.)

A little something something

[Here is a preview of  a few bits and pieces I’ve created; part of my icon – or social insignia – Not quite sure yet, but only time will tell. I’ve always had a thing for simplistic designs; I believe simplicity can go a heck of a long way, depending on how you function it]

As a creative, I can’t help but stress on the idea of being a perfectionist. Don’t get me wrong, I love the element of it; wanting to work in a way until you’re completely satisfied, no matter how hard you work, you’re not done until you know you’re satisfied. However; God knows how time consuming that can be, how indecisive one can be in the process of creating. I’ve just spent a week (probably more than a week; so much to say that I can’t even put an accurate duration on the time spent) and a bit trying to design myself an icon…of myself… for my website which will most probably be used for various other sources. It took me a while. I’m satisfied. For now. However, I’ll be making amendments in the future. So let’s just say I am “temporarily satisfied”..

If that’s even a thing..
